Who am I?
I am a nutritionist by profession and my expertise is in
Community Based Weight Management consultation. However, overall
I see myself more of an educator more than anything else.
My Battle with the Bulge
I went through the saga of combating weight
problems as soon as I delivered my 2nd child. The challenge was
for me to trim myself down from 72kg after my child birth back
to where I begin at 50kg.
Did I succeed? Enviously Yes. Thanks to to my Nutritional
practice background and my teachings on nutrition and Weight
Loss. What better way than to walk the talk and send the wisdoms
of theory into practice
Glad I did it naturally without ever stepping into any "hyped"
slimming centres, cold or hot body wraps, creams, pills or magic
potions, or any of those burn fats while you sleep gadgets!
Solid proper Holistic nutrition, Smart Fitness, Strong self
image and some basic common sense helped pulled through the
magics!
My
Passion in Life
I
loved the journey of the weight loss challenge and since then, have
developed it into my passion. I set up Anggun International with the
objective of spreading the message of Holistic Health and Nutrition
across the community.
My
Academic & Professional Background
The
science of Nutrition has always been my passion, so that landed me with
educational stints in Nutrition. The quest for knowledge carried me
across the world, from Perth Western Australia to Illinois State USA,
where I completed my Nutrition Degree. Learning never ends so back home
in Singapore, I continued yet with a Postgraduate in teaching of
Nutrition and embarked on a teaching career in Food and Nutrition.
It was a great experience as I have the fortunate experience to run the
Trim and Fit programs in Schools for overweight and obese teenagers.
My
Treasured Life Experiences
I
cherished the times when I took on a dying Dance Academy and converted
into a vibrant Dance Academy bringing glory to the youths I've worked
with. Touching lives and seeing dying hopes blossom will be an
unforgettable experience of my lifetime :)
I left teaching to pursue my greater mission in life, ie, to spread the
words of hope, knowledge and truth to the masses. Armored with a rock
solid belief and vision that I am what my community need at a point
where obesity has risen serious health concerns, I started conducting
public seminars and talks on Nutrition, Women's Wellness and Weight
Management issues both in Singapore and Malaysia.
My
Current Pursuits in Life
I am
currently conducting talks and seminars on Nutrition, Women's Wellness
and Weight Management issues both in Singapore and Malaysia.
Knowledge will and always be my long life love and pursuit :)

I I live and enjoy life, being happy, contented and fulfilled with the
standards I set for myself. I fulfill my life purpose and I feel a sense
of satisfaction to be an educator, someone who spreads good words, who
inspires, who motivates, who leads people to see the true potentials
they have within.
My life long learning never ends, and I am at peace for living my life
to the fullest, contributing my purpose to the world and touching
people's lives as I continue this journey to live my higher goals in
life...
